Andrea began to follow her passion for yoga, health and well-being in 2014 when a year in Australia changed her perspective on life. This is when she began her own healing journey and through her classes, Andrea aims to help and support others in reconnecting with their own bodies, hearts and minds to find true compassion and self love.

Born and raised in Kildare with a passion for travelling the globe, Andrea’s friends describe her as fun loving, compassionate and adventurous. Andrea’s love for India’s beauty, healing and energy draws her back time and time again, and this is where she completed her first 200hr Hatha YTT in 2016 with Vinod Kumar Rajan. Her first ever yoga class was with Paul Whelan in 2009, and he has guided her down the wonderful path of self- awakening and continuous learning. These wonderful teachers have opened her heart to yoga, meditation, pranayama and chanting. 

Andrea has completed over 1,000hours of yoga and mindfulness training including a 2 year Ashtanga Vinyasa YTT with Paul at Absolute Yoga in 2017, Rainbow Kids Yoga 2015, Youth Mindfulness, Yin Yoga with Josh Summers, and more recently, Pre & Post Natal yoga training with Melissa Curtis. She will always be a student of the practice and is deeply grateful for the wisdom her teachers have shared with her. She has learned life skills to cope with stress and anxiety which allows her to live a purposeful and joyous life and her intention is to share these learnings so you can also live a harmonious life.

Andrea believes yoga is a way of life, on and off the mat, and as a teacher her aim is to bring awareness, compassion, peace and harmony to those who join her class.

Many different styles of yoga including Pregnancy, Hatha and Yin Yoga are offered to those who wish to keep connecting, moving, learning, feeling and experiencing all that yoga can offer physically, mentally and spiritually. 

In her classes, Andrea will be there to guide you through your asana practice, make adjustments or modify poses to suit your needs and help each person on their own path of self discovery and healing. Andrea will also include pranayama (breath work), meditation, stillness, relaxation and warm smiles. She seeks to help others thrive in life by nurturing the body, mind and soul with yoga. Andrea’s hope is that you step off the mat feeling connected, refreshed and nourished.
